Please read these competition rules carefully. If you enter one of our competitions, it is a condition that you have read these rules and that you agree to them. This competition is being promoted by John Dunnion (The Promoter) on behalf of The Pirate’s Code.
- To enter a competition you must be: (a) UK resident; and (b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry; (c) The parent/guardian of a child under the age of 18. Only one entry allowed per person.
- Competitions are not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of John Dunnion or Sabe Interactive Ltd, The App Developers or any subsidiary or partner of Sabe Interactive Ltd.
- Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of dispatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The winner will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date.
- The closing date is as specified in each competition, and John Dunnion reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, John Dunnion reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random, or in the event that the promotion is being judged, John Dunnion reserves the right to offer the prize to the runner(s)-up selected by the same judges. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

- By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as John Dunnion may require.
- If a panel of judges is required for the competition, it will be comprised of persons detailed on the relevant competition page and/or staff of John Dunnion.
- The prize will not be transferable to another person.
- The winner will receive a £1000 cash prize. The prize will be paid in £GBP via electronic bank transfer. Any currency exchanges or international transaction fees of any type will be deducted from the prize fund.

- John Dunnion reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. John Dunnion may also create rules, which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
- If the competition or promotion is run on Facebook and/or Twitter, then it is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and/or Twitter. By participating you hereby release and hold harmless Facebook and/or Twitter from any and all liability associated with this promotion.
- The competition will remain open until one month after the first correct entry is received. This date will be published on our Facebook page - @piratescodeapp - on the day the first correct entry is received.
- John Dunnion will endeavour to send prizes within 14 days of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.
- The competition is governed by UK law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
- The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions at any time and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.
- Confirmation of the prize will also be made in writing to the winner(s) via electronic means deem appropriate by John Dunnion
- To enter this prize draw, entrants must submit their full name, valid email address and competition entry in the required fields at www.thepiratescode.co.uk. Entry is restricted to one per person. Once submitted, entries cannot be amended in any way.
- Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
